Prakash Hinduja receives the 2021 Who-is-Who Award in Greece
The philhellene President of the Hinduja Group in Europe Mr. Prakash Hinduja was honored among other prominent personalities from the business and artistic world with the 2021 Who-is-Who award in Greece in a spectacular ceremony organized on September 30 at the idyllic “environment” of Lake Vouliagmeni in Athens.
Prakash Hinduja and his family visit Greece very often. Their company participated in Thessaloniki International Fair seeking to expand its activities in the Balkans and the Eastern Mediteranean region. The company employs more than 150.000 people and is involved in a wide range of activities including import-export, trading, motor vehicles, banking and healthcare. Its presence can be found even in the media area with a strong participation in cable television networks.

The Who is Who International Awards ceremony entitled “Greece, the World is All” is under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Development & Investment, the Ministry of Tourism, the Prefecture of Attica and the National Tourism Organization, and awards distinguished personalities from all over the world every year for their contribution to five categories of the institution – Entrepreneurship, Science, Arts, Academics, and Social Responsibility.
Chief guest of the evening – and one of the winners – the Archduke of Austria and Princess of Tuscany HIRH Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen praised the importance of the institution and the need to offer to fellow human beings. The event was honored by the presence of members of the government, MPs and representatives of the social scene such as the Minister of Justice Costas Tsiaras, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy George Amyras, the Deputy Minister of Tourism Sofia Zacharaki, the Governor of Attica Giorgos Patoulis, the Deputy speaker of New Democracy Harris Theocharis, and others.
The Greek-Indian Business Association (GIBA) was represented by the President of ELINEPA Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis, who congratulated the organizers of Who-is-Who Greece for awarding Mr. Prakash Hinduja, saying that the recognition of the work of the Indian businessman sends a positive message for attracting Indian investments in Greece. He also urgued that the development of economic relations will inevitably lead to the expansion of cultural collaboration for the projection on the international level of the historical contacts that the two countries have had over the centuries.
