Webinar on “Exploring business potential between India and Greece”
On September 9, 2021, the Millennial India International Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MIICCIA) organized, with the support of the Embassy of India in Athens, a Webinar on the subject “Exploring business potential between India and Greece”.
Distinguished speakers were:
H.E. Ambassador Anil Trigunayat, President MIICCIA
He expressed his strong desire to expand potential between the two
countries as now is the time to further these efforts both ways.
H.E. Mr. Amrit Lugun, Ambassador of India to Greece
He was the Guest of Honor and provided valuable information (economic
and practical) on Greece’s developing business opportunities for Indian
business companies.
Mr. Fanis Matsopoulos, Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (ACCI)
He discussed opportunities and practical issues between the two countries.
Mr. James Mimikos, Board of Directors of GIBA
He introduced GIBA as a member driven organization and covered the
various areas our members are active in including film production incentives, food processing, agriculture, wines, IT investments, Golden
Visas, property, finance and more.
Mr. Yannis Bellas, CEO, Belas F. & Son S.A.
Besides his interest in dairy, he discussed opportunities and investments in Thessaloniki and Northern Greece. Further he emphasized that Greece and India, having a long cultural history together, should build on this. Cultural interactions should be actively developed between Greece and India for many reasons that includes bonding us more; and in turn, this will open up other possibilities in business development.
On the whole, it was a substantial and dynamic webinar that was watched with great interest by several Greek and Indian businessmen and it opens a new window to the economic cooperation between the two countries.
