GIBA Elects New Board of Directors Following the President’s Resignation
Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis, founder and President of the Greek–Indian Business Association (GIBA), established in 2019, has decided to step down from the presidency to devote himself more fully to academic studies, research, and teaching. He will henceforth hold the position of Honorary President of the Greek–Indian Business Association, while continuing to serve as President of the Hellenic Indian Society for Culture and Development (ELINEPA).
Following his decision, a new Board of Directors has been elected to lead the Association and continue its mission of promoting business cooperation between Greece and India and strengthening closer relations between the two countries.
The Greek–Indian Business Association has now been officially registered with the General Commercial Registry (GEMI) under registration number 19701851000 as an independent non-profit organization, functioning autonomously while maintaining close relations with ELINEPA (Hellenic Indian Society for Culture and Development).
Among the Association’s other founding members, General Secretary Antonis Papadopoulos takes up a position on the new Board of Directors, while Public Relations Director Dimitris (James) Mimikos will continue to support its work as an honorary member.
