Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in collaboration with Ministry of External Affairs and Embassy of Greece India is organizing an ‘India-Greece Business Forum’ followed by multi-sectoral B2B MEETINGS and networking reception during the visit of by H.E. Mr. Costas Fragkogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness of Greece from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM on 23 February, 2024 at Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloud in Bengaluru.
The Greek delegation will comprise of sectors such as Defence, Energy, Space, Tourism, F&B, Film Industry, Biotechnology, Logistics, Construction, Maritime-Shipping, Financial Services, ICT etc. These B2B meetings will provide an excellent opportunity for Indian Industry to explore business with the leading industry members from Greece.
The trade relations between India and Greece are on an upswing. India as the 5th largest economy in the world representing a massive opportunity for Greece, as leader in the field of tourism, shipping,industrial products, food and tobacco processing, textiles, chemicals, metal products, mining and petroleum. In 2022-23, India’s exports to Greece stood at US$ 2 billion in 2022-23 and India’s imports from Greece were US$ 375.82 million.
